Description

Fryman arrived from the Pirates as part of a trade for Jim Bunning. The southpaw represented the Phillies in the '68 All-Star Game, and he split the '72 season between the Phils and the ALCS-bound Tigers. Fryman's '72 Phillies jersey is a Wilson size-44 example with "Set 2" tagging on the front tail. An accompanying 2004 LOA from Ed Dolan calls it the "first knit jersey ever worn by the Phillies and also the rarest. Gorgeous, a real keeper." Light wear overall.
