VP/GM Herb Pennock's TLS (8-1/2 x 7-1/4", VG-EX, "8") appears on official stationery, features BOTH the Blue Jay and Phillies logos, and reads, in part, "I think that the Phillies will move up this year and I can assure you we are doing everything in our power to put a club on the field that you Philadelphia fans will be proud of."

There are 5 others letters on the same 1945-47 Blue Jay stationery—4 of which are respectively signed by scout Eddie Krajnik, secretary-treasurer George Fletcher, minor-league club director Joseph Reardon and traveling secretary Nathan Alexander.

A pair of early-1940s letters addressed to player Walter Beck are signed by President G.P. Nugent. A pair of 1957-58 letters are respectively signed by scout Paul Duval and secretary George Fletcher. Lastly, there is a pair of unsigned 1943 letters to and from Phillies President William Cox.

Signatures average "7-9" overall. Auction LOA from JSA.
