Description

This extensive Orioles lot comes from the personal collection of longtime Orioles groundskeeper Pat Santarone. In addition to being the only groundskeeper anywhere who grew tomatoes, he had an exceptionally close relationship with Earl Weaver and was front and center at all of his HOF induction events (also had a good relationship with Jim Palmer, as we will see). Orioles fans will appreciate the history of this particular lot, which Santarone obtained from the players themselves. Auction LOA for signed items.

Includes:

Brooks Robinson game-used batting glove: circa 1960s black Saranac glove with moderate wear and “5” written three times on “Baltimore Orioles” bird logo on the top. Housed in 11x13 display;
