Housed in handsome wood cases with accompanying COAs, these stunning sets replicate vintage baseball cards in durable porcelain. Each set consists of (4) porcelain cards stored in protective acrylic holders and housed in custom wood boxes. All are accompanied by COA letters and career biography cards issued by “Preferred Customer Service” of Burnsville, MN. These sets were produced in LE quantities corresponding to the number of home runs hit by the represented star. The DiMaggio edition which was produced in a quantity of 500, however the COA states 139 of these sets were given to DiMaggio for personal use and only the balance of 361 sets equal to his career HR total was made available for public consumption. One card in each set features a photo of the represented player during the series signing session with an additional COA and serial numbered hologram on the reverse. The other three cards in each set replicate vintage baseball cards. Each set is additionally housed in individual blue cardboard boxes which have served to keep the wood cases in like-new condition.
