Description

Overshadowed throughout his productive career in the Bronx, Bill “Moose” Skowron was enjoying his third of five successive All-Star seasons in 1959 when a back injury limited him to 15 homers, all of which he launched before the Mid-Summer Classic. This bat was turned for Skowron for use in the ’59 All-Star game. The Adirondack (34.5-oz/36”) “194X” block-letter war club features prominent white barrel stampings, which include “1959 ALL-STAR.” The uncracked white ash weapon shows no use. Full photo LOA from John Taube, PSA/DNA.
