In a departure from brandishing traditional war clubs, Major League players use pink lumber every Mother’s Day to raise money and awareness for breast cancer. This 2008 example was used and signed by Ryan Zimmerman, who is keenly aware of such issues as his own mother suffers from multiple sclerosis. The uncracked Louisville Slugger (33.3-oz/34-1/4”) “H238” block-letter model is signed on the barrel in black marker ("10" strength) and has ball and stitch marks about the hitting surface, as well as pine-tar residue on the handle.

The bat comes with an MLB Authentication hologram.
