Respectively signed by principals of New York Mets installments that defended a miraculous World Series title and embarked on an equally improbable championship run, these two baseballs include:

 

1970 New York Mets Team-Signed Ball: an absolutely gorgeous clean and creamy ONL Giles sphere (grade “9”) signed in blue ballpoint (average “6-7” strength) by: Sweet Spot: Hodges manager, d.1972, “5-6” strength); North Panel: Pignatano (coach), Boswell, Swoboda, Berra (coach, “5” strength), Agee, Kranepool and Garrett; South Panel: Foy, Chance, Seaver (“6” strength), Jorgensen, Koosman, Grote, Sadecki, Koonce (d.1993) and Weis; West Panel: Cardwell, Walker (coach), Dyer and Jones; East Panel: Taylor, Ryan (“8” strength), McAndrew, McGraw, Harrelson, Gentry and Yost. 1986 World Champion New York Mets Team-Signed Reunion Ball: a snow-white Official 1986 World Series ball (grade “10,” reproduction ball with gold-colored trademark logo stampings) signed in blue ballpoint (averaged “7-8” strength) by: Sweet Spot: D. Johnson (manager); North Panel: Lyons, Foster, Hearn, Sisk, Backman, Anderson, Berenyi, Magadan, Teufel and Lynch; South Panel: Fernandez, Santana, Ojeda, Gooden and Niemann; West Panel: Orosco (inscribed “47”), Knight (inscribed “1986 WS MVP”), Carter, Wilson, Hernandez, H. Johnson and McDowell; East Panel: Stottlemyre (coach), Strawberry, Leach, Mitchell, Heep, Dykstra, Pavlick (coach) and Elster; Reverse Sweet Spot: Robinson (coach).
