Description



A century old look at the wide world of sports is provided, with this 1913-1914 Bain New Service 11x14 photo lot of (26). Capturing a wide variety of athletic endeavors, this collection is comprised of (25) four-in-one sheets and (1) two-in-one sheet, for a total of (102) different images. Each photo sheet is accompanied by an original period copyright credit blurb, with identifying captions for the various scenes. While the majority of the images are sports related, non-sport subjects are also depicted.
