Round out your photograph collection, with this well-rounded bundle of Bain News Service uncut four-in-one sheets, all accompanied by period identification copyright credits. Dating from the 1910s, these (22) antique sheets each contain (4) separate images, for a total of (88) different photos. This international array covers a lot of ground, with a news worthy selection of famous people, interesting places and topical events, including scenes related to WWI, sports, politics, murder and much more. 

 


Highlights are:


1.) William A. "Billy" Sunday and 1880s outfielder and 2X NL pennant winner with the Chicago White Stockings (Cubs), Sunday went on to become the leading evangelist of the early 20th Century/Officers J.S. Williams and R.H. Buck of the steamship Gregory, who did heroic work in saving survivors of the Oklahoma, an oil tanker that was wrecked in 1914/William Gibbs McAdoo and David S. Houston, Secretary of the Treasury and Secretary of Agriculture respectively/Survivors of the steamship Oklahoma wreck

Former showgirl May Picard, wife of Lord Dangan the Actor Man/World famous tenor Enrico Caruso and Geraldine Farrar in costume in the opera "Julien"/Joe Graves captioned as "The Indian Pitcher, signed by Connie Mack of the Philadelphians.
