All Americans were affected by the 9/11 attacks, but citizens of New York City were particularly hit hard. When the Twin Towers collapsed, thousands of New Yorkers perished, however the resilient inhabitants of our biggest city pulled together with the support of a grief stricken nation. When the murderous fiend who planned these attacks was executed on 5/2/11, the New York Daily News ran a front page that expressed how New York felt about the matter, with the caption "Rot In Hell" next to a photo of Al-Qaeda head man Osama bin Laden. Featured is an 11x14 photograph of the 5/2/11 Daily News front cover reporting the death of bin Laden, which came at the hands of U.S. Navy Seal Team Six. At the bottom of the page another caption reads "Obama: U.S. team kills Bin Laden in Firefight". The kill took place at the international terrorist's compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan and the man who delivered bin Laden his death blow, is decorated Navy SEAL Robert J. O'Neill, who has also delivered a ("10") strength autograph, along with the determined inscription "Never Quit!" PSA/DNA "In-The-Presence" COA/sticker.
