Ride to the sound of the guns, with this 1950s Hartland General George Armstrong Custer figure set in original box. A fascinating historical figure, Custer rode gallantly into battle during the Civil War and afterwards, right up to his "Last Stand" at the Battle of the Little Bighorn. As part of its Famous Riders series of figure sets, Custer was glorified by Hartland in shelf size with this horse and rider production. The nicely preserved Custer figure mounts up in (NM+) condition and comes with a horse, saddle, hat, sword, pistol and original factory box. Like the spirited rider, the horse and accessories present handsomely, with deference to the stirrup on the left side of the saddle, which is twisted in the wrong direction. Decorated with a scene of Custer and a Confederate Army officer saluting each other, the box retains a nice shape, though it shows general age-appropriate wear, leading to a (VG) rating. The included flag is obviously a replacement, as the wood pole is too big to fit in Custer's left hand as intended.
