For his efforts against the New York Giants on 11/28/71, St. Louis Cardinals cornerback Miller Farr was rewarded with this nicely decorated Wilson Official NFL football. The ball's single white panel is adorned with a vibrant Cardinals logo and the legend "Game Ball Presented To Miller Farr, St. Louis - 24, N.Y. Giants - 7, November 28, 1971, Yankee Stadium". While this decorated panel has a small bit of paint loss at the center of indention, the lettering is unaffected and display appeal flies high. An AFL star during the 1960s, Farr jumped to the Cardinals when the AFL merged with the NFL in 1970 and he enjoyed four fine seasons in St. Louis as a solid defensive back on the left side of the Cardinals secondary.
