One thing for sure is, baseball is proud of its traditions. From deep in the heart of Texas comes this high flying stadium banner. This massive 6'2" x 4'7" hand-sewn flag flew over the Texas Rangers home field at Arlington Stadium during the 1970s. The maker is identified by a Betsy Ross Flag Girl factory label, which is located next to an MLB logo on the hem at left. Dominating the field is a red and blue National League logo, that was surely visible from anywhere in the stadium and possibly from space. Light to moderate soiling is noted and surface loss and fraying occur along the right edge, providing a great look of authenticity, without affecting the graphics or lettering. Also located on the hem at left are two brass eyelets, which are securely attached and ready for duty.
