Printed with the proud Raiders team logo at top left, these vintage checks take the field in a range of (VG-EX to EX-MT), with bank processing stamps adding to their authentic appeal.
Davis (d.2011) has signed all (7) checks with average ("9-10") potency, on the customary endorsement line at bottom right on the front. It's interesting to note the amounts of these checks and the entities they were made to, including a $150,000 check to the Oakland Raiders Football Club dated 4/1/77; a $5,000 check to NFL Films dated 7/9/77; and a $27,389 check to El Rancho Tropicana dated 8/2/78. The El Rancho was a third-rate motel in Santa Rosa, that served as the Raiders training camp headquarters and should you go looking, there are some amusing tales about the Raiders summer adventures to discover.
