Hall of Fame quarterback John Elway had to wait until the end of his magnificent career to win it all. He and his Denver Broncos were spectacular in 1997 and 1998, winning back-to-back Super Bowls in Elway's final two seasons as NFL player, sending him off to Disney World with two championship rings on his fingers. This dominant team is celebrated with this 1999 Danbury Mint The 1998 Denver Broncos figure set display. The prime movers and shakers from this championship team are immortalized with (10) 6" tall statues, that are affixed to a handsome 28x4 wood base. Presenting in like-new condition, these realistic figures are accurately detailed, with the subjects clearly recognizable. Featured from left to right are: Ed McCaffrey, Shannon Sharpe, Terrell Davis, Mark Schlereth, John Elway, Mike Shanahan, John Mobley, Bill Romanowski, Neil Smith and Steve Atwater.
Please note that Elway's helmet hangs loose from the faceguard cage. Nothing on the helmet appears to be broken and it will stay in the proper location when accurately positioned, however jarring the display will cause it to drop down out of position.
