Expert authenticator Phil Wood's comprehensive LOA says it all here:
"There is an embossed label on the visor reading 'BICHETTE' in reference to outfielder Dante Bichette. On the back of the item is the number '10' in white peel-off numerals (Bichette's uniform number), above the American Baseball Cap (ABC) logo and the MLB logo...Also visible is the ABC 'clock' designating when the helmet was manufactured, in this case December of 1994. Helmet displays light game use...[Bichette] led the NL in hits, home runs and RBI in 1995 when he most likely would've used this helmet, although it should be pointed out that helmets were frequently used for more than just a single season, as they could be reconditioned as long as the shell was intact...I'm comfortable vouching for the authenticity of this batting helmet. It checks all of the boxes insofar as what should and shouldn't be there. That it's uncracked and in excellent shape is an added bonus."
