Description

The 1971 Baltimore Orioles played their winning hand of four aces all the way to a victory in the World Series. Guys like Paul Blair, Don Buford and Merv Rettenmund took turns setting the table for big boppers Boog Powell and the Robinsons to satisfy manager Earl Weaver's scheme, by belting three-run homers when needed, but for this season the starters were the story. All four of the Orioles starting pitchers won twenty or more games in 1971 and all four have signed the offered 8x10 black and white photograph. Signature strength averages ("9-10") with from left to right Jim Palmer, Dave McNally, Mike Cuellar and Pat Dobson, who are seen on the top step of the dugout at O's longtime home, Memorial Stadium. JSA basic cert/sticker.
