It was a long uphill battle, but Hall of Fame quarterback John Elway finally won the Super Bowl at the end of his illustrious career with the Denver Broncos. Having spent his entire NFL playing career in Denver, Elway stood at the league's pinnacle on the winning side of Super Bowls XXII and XXIII. The first of these ultimate triumphs came on 1/25/98 at San Diego's Qualcomm Stadium, where Elway and the Broncos defeated the Green Bay Packers by a score of 31-24. A super commemorative of this Super Bowl victory arrives with this Elway single-signed Vince Lombardi Trophy replica. This gleaming testament to triumph is a well constructed rendition, that is etched with Super Bowl XXXII's legend, beneath the NFL shield logo. Centered on the base between a Broncos helmet and the Super Bowl XXXII logo, Elway's autograph shows ("9") potency and is accompanied by his uniform number inscription "7". Full photo LOA from JSA.
