So much happened for the 1992 Eagles that bestselling author Mark Bowden devoted an entire book to their season, called Bringing the Heat. First, in the summer, defensive tackle Jerome Brown died in a car accident, which led to the battle cry for a Super Bowl win, "Bring It Home For Jerome!" Ultimately, the Eagles got off to a 4-0 start and did secure their first playoff game victory since 1980.
