Though they played at opposite ends of the Earth, Hank Aaron and Sadaharu Oh had one very important thing in common, they were both supreme masters of belting balls out of the park. These American and Japanese longball legends meet in the middle with this dual-signed lithograph display. The work of meticulous artist Michael Elins, this 16-1/2 x 25" litho is framed to overall dimensions of 21-1/2 x 30". The home run heroes are depicted in classic batting poses and portraits in front of their respective national flags, with Aaron and the Star Spangled Banner at top and Oh and Hinomaru below. Both esteemed subjects have signed on the bottom border in pencil, with Aaron ("9-10") and Oh ("9"). Elin has also signed at bottom right and the piece is LE numbered "205/500" at bottom left.
