The 1950s-1960s was a golden era for Major League Baseball, with many great players who went all the way to the Hall of Fame. At the front of the pack, were Willie Mays and Mickey Mantle. Manning the centerfield position, these legendary superstars performed countless on-field miracles. They also hit a heck of a lot of home runs. Two of their blasts are commemorated with this pair of limited edition lithographs by artist C. Spahn. Both of these 17-1/2 x 23-1/2" lithos are matted to 22x28 and both report handsomely. From the Decathlon Sport Print Series, these multi-image artworks are numbered to match the career home run totals of their illustrious subjects. These elaborate presentations go the extra mile in commemorating the home runs, with the career number, date, location and opponent noted across the bottom and Spahn has signed and hand numbered both at the lower right corner.
