This vintage non-sport series was issued as a tie-in to the NBC Hopalong Cassidy television series, which begat the "Western" genre as a TV staple that would go on to dominate the airwaves during the 1950s. The obverse photographs are scenes from the many William Boyd "Hoppy" films, which NBC edited to fit a television format; and the reverses bear rousing adventure text.
