A true gentleman and scholar is pictured on this handsome circa 1890s Bingham & Bingham cabinet photo. This dapper 5-1/8 x 8-3/8" gilt edged antique from the Memphis studio pictures a pensive subject in his suit-and-tie. The textured reverse is inscribed in pencil "Jim McGuire" (James "Deacon" McGuire was a former Phillies veteran). Despite moderate creasing and surface staining throughout, this cabinet still exhibits outstanding eye appeal!
