There's much more to this story than meets the eye. According to the fascinating account linked here, Cy Young's local post office did not close in the early 1930s, nor did it close in the early 1950s—all thanks to the Cyclone himself! Nevertheless, the 6-1/2" x 3-1/2" envelope features a 1/20/34 "Last Day of Peoli Postoffice" stamp with the Peoli Postmaster's signature. Young's all-important autograph above is an "8" example. Surface toning throughout and perimeter mailing wear. The legendary hurler's house still stands in Peoli, and he remains the most famous tombstone in Peoli Cemetery. Full LOA from JSA.
