You may know that Braves hurler Joe Oeschger (and opposing Robins moundsman Leon Cadore) pitched all 26 innings of the longest game in major-league history. Did you also know that it was Oeschger's second 20-plus-inning game?! He remains the only ballplayer in history to record two 20-inning marathons. Another fascinating factoid is that Joe holds the record for 21 consecutive scoreless innings—which concluded with 9 straight no-hit innings! Oeschger (d.1986) acknowledged the achievement with his "6/7" signature on this medium-toned OAL (Brown) ball rating 4/5. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
